Events and Support Groups Adult Children's Support Group October 30, 2012 - December 18, 2012 / 7:00 - 8:30 pm Are you caring for an aging parent with cognitive impairment or physical problems? Are you looking for the opportunity to share common experiences and get mutual support? The Adult Children's Support Group provides a place to discuss communication issues, stress and burnout, coping strategies and community supports. This group will occur every Tuesday at 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm from October 30th to December 18th 2012. It will be at 1300 steeles avenue west, unit 31. DEALING WITH STRESS November 7, 2012 - December 12, 2012 / 6:00 - 7:30 pm This group will address the management of stress including coping strategies, conflict resolution, health and relaxation, and other simple and effective techniques to combat the source and symptoms of stress. It takes place every Wednesday from Nov.7th to Dec. 12th 2012 at 6:00-7:30 pm. It is happening at the the Bernard Betel Centre's Music Room (1003 Steeles Avenue West). This group will examine topics related to death, dying, myths of bereavement and moving forward. The group is Co-facilitated by Social Workers Anna Siciliano and Marisa Di Nardo.
